Valerie has worked in creative fields for over 15 years, including film development at companies like Beacon Pictures, Ideaology, and as a script analyst for Creative Artists Agency (CAA).
A lifelong student of the Hero’s Journey, Valerie attended The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute before completing her undergraduate degree at Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in English Literature. She went on to earn an M.F.A in Screenwriting at Chapman University.
Following her education, she leveraged her storytelling prowess as a Partnership and Brand Manager in the celebrity space. To this end, Valerie oversaw campaigns for Jimi Hendrix, Marlon Brando and the Farrah Fawcett estates. She spearheaded product launches for Mad Men, Sheryl Crow, and Priscilla Presley. Valerie exited the corporate world to spend more time with her two young children.
Now that her boys are flourishing, she’s excited to focus on her own creative endeavors again whilst helping other women birth their projects into the world.
